We decided to use Final Cut pro for our media product, we used this software because we researched different software's and looked at some videos on YouTube to see what ones we though would work best for our product.
Its a relatively easy software to use as you can look at some tutorials to help you and the tools are quite easy to follow, this was a major advantage for us as I wasn't that confident on how to edit videos.
